I would like to be able to push a Docker Image to the Amazon Container Service Repository. Currently that is not possible out of the box, because the authentication to the Amazon ECS is not password based, but rather you need to use the AWS command line tools to get tokens, etc.
You can install the AWS CLI in a Ubuntu Docker instance as one of the pipeline actions, however you can't run docker itself (docker in docker that would have to be) to push the Docker image you've build in a previous action.
Is it possible somehow to modify the commands when building the docker image, or access the image afterwards in a subsequent pipeline action?
Or is my only option to push the image to another repository that I control and then push it to AWS from there using SSH actions?
