Error when publishing pipeline filesystem to Elastic Beanstalk

I am doing a build of a PHP project (just running composer install), then publishing to Elastic Beanstalk.

I am getting the following error when deploying to EB

Info Starting deployment..
Version not found - preparing new package for installation..
Verifing excluded paths will not be deployed: [build/]
Uploading package to S3 bucket buddy-eb-us-east-1-0000.
  Deploying to Elastic Beanstalk: failed
Failed You have attempted to create more buckets than allowed (Service: Amazon S3; Status Code: 400; Error Code: TooManyBuckets;)

I am not using S3 at all for anything. So I am not sure why this error is coming up. I am going straight from Docker to EB.

What am I doing wrong here?

Looks like you aren’t allow to have more than 100 buckets. I deleted some and it worked fine after!

@james2doyle, I’ve already forwarded it to the devs - we’ll investigate it and fix

@james2doyle, sorry for not getting back to you earlier.

Here’s more info from Amazon’s FAQ how to increase the limits:

Q: How can I Increase the number of Amazon S3 buckets that I can provision?
By default, customers can provision up to 100 buckets per AWS account. However, you can increase your Amazon S3 bucket limit by visiting AWS Service Limits.
