FTPS connection to the server with expired certificate

Hello

I have a problem with FTPS connection to the server with the expired certificate.

I know it’s a server issue, but I do not have access to it. My client just gave me the access and I do not have the ability to change this situation.

In all FTP applications, I’m able to temporary accept the expired certificate and connect to the server. Unfortunately, in “Buddy Go” I do not see this option. During the connection, it shows the message:

Error while connecting to the server: Error while connecting to the server: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: java.security.cert.CertificateExpiredException: NotAfter: Sat Mar 07 13:32:01 UTC 2015

Is there some workaround for this situation?

Dominik,
For now there’s no workaround to this, sorry. Could you drop a line to support@buddy.works? We’ll help you sort it out in one way or another (you can write in Polish if you like )

Solved: the client has properly configured the Plesk certificate on their VPN. Closing thread.
