I’m just beginning to use Buddy on Premise. I still don’t understand how to use MySQL from the Services tab in the pipeline. Can you anyone me figure this out?
What I did is create the MAVEN to build my Java application and already attach MySQL. I was trying to "docker exec -it into the Buddy machine but got an error message “ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@‘localhost’ (using password: YES)” and “ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user ‘root’@‘bf36d75f19df’ (using password: YES)”
@khanasin.y, it doesn’t work that way, I’m afraid. If you have a build action (in your case Maven) and you switch a MySQL microservice on within that action, it, another docker is run with installed MySQL server to which access data is provided. It’s accessible for that build only since it’s created in an isolated environment. In your home Docker (Maven action in other words) you need to connect with this database. Then, you could use it as if you used remote server.
